The Gwinnett Department of Water Resources and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will conduct the 2nd annual Hazardous Household Waste Collection Day at Gwinnett County Fairgrounds 8 a.m. to noon July 20 at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy. in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett residents are allowed to bring up to 5 containers each of household hazardous waste at no charge. A “container” is not just one item, but a copy paper box or laundry basket sized container.

Items that will not be accepted include ammunition, radioactive waste, pharmaceuticals, or biomedical/biohazard waste. Complete list of accepted waste items: www.bit.ly/2X5t3bM.
