Motorists can expect overnight lane closures and multiple detours this week as work continues on the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange reconstruction in the Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

“Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds and detours in some areas,” the Georgia Department of Transportation said. All work is scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and is “weather permitting” and subject to change:

Wednesday: Partial closure of the ramp from westbound I-285 to Roswell Road.

Thursday: Partial closure of the ramp from eastbound I-285 to Glenridge Drive.

Friday: Partial closure of the ramp from eastbound I-285 to Ashford Dunwoody Road; and full closures with detours of the ramps from Abernathy Road to southbound Ga. 400, and from southbound Ga. 400 to Hammond Drive.

Also, traffic pacing may occur and lane widths may be reduced from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all ramps from I-285 to Ga. 400, with construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zone. Information: https://bit.ly/2R4jrZh
