The Forest Park City Council will discuss accepting a Community Economic Planning Assistance grant at the regular meeting 7 p.m. Monday at Forest Park City Hall, 745 Forest Parkway. The grant was offered by the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment for the Fiscal year 2017 and requires matching funds from the city.
The council will also consider two license agreements with nearby schools for the use of the Forest Park indoor swimming pool at 9045 Tara Boulevard. One license agreement would be with Creekside Christian Academy, which would use the pool starting Sept. 27 through Feb. 2. The other agreement would be with Henry County Schools, which would use the pool from Oct. 18 to Feb. 2.
Both agreements would cost the schools $45 per hour of use.
