Duluth, second city in Gwinnett to receive Live, Work, Play award

The Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), with ‘Georgia Trend’ magazine presented a 2019 Live, Work, Play award to Duluth at GMA’s annual Mayors’ Day Conference in Atlanta.

The Live, Work and Play Award recognizes cities committed to increasing the overall quality of life for all residents and setting a strong example for other local governments. Duluth is the second city in Gwinnett receiving the honor this year in the large city with a population of 25,000 or more category. Other winners in this category included Canton, Lawrenceville and Valdosta.

The voluntary, non-profit GMA provides legislative advocacy, research, training, employee benefit, and technical consulting services to its membership of 538 cities.
