A man convicted in the death of his 6-month-old daughter is set to be sentenced in DeKalb County on Tuesday.
Reginald Demarcus Johnson, who reportedly first suggested that little Jordan’s twin might’ve caused the skull fractures and bleeding on her brain, goes to court at 8:45 a.m. to learn his fate.
Convicted of felony murder in the April 2015 death, Johnson, 36, of Ellenwood is guaranteed a life sentence under Georgia law. The question is whether he’ll ever have a chance at parole.
Johnson was found guilty by a jury last month. Evidence from medical experts and investigators suggested the force needed to cause such injury could've come from "smashing on a table or other flat surface or an adult stomping the baby's head," the DA's office said.
Johnson initially told emergency workers the twin might’ve caused the injuries.

District Attorney Robert James called the crime and attempt to blame the twin “repugnant and inexcusable.”
Johnson’s attorney, LeeAnne Lynch, said the defendant maintained his innocence and would continue to fight through the appeals process.
