Cobb Community Foundation staff is offering Cobb Community Impact Grant overview and training to help nonprofit organizations learn more about this grant and the application process.

Participants can choose between two sessions: 9-11 a.m. Jan. 22 or 9-11 a.m. Jan. 24.

Both sessions will be held in the community room, Cobb Chamber building, 240 Interstate North Parkway, Atlanta.

In April, foundation staff will award $100,000 in Cobb Community Impact Grants, ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 each.

Cobb Community Connection is Cobb Community Foundation’s newest initiative - an easy-to-use, interactive database that will be available year round and allows a nonprofit to post and maintain current and ongoing needs.

Once registered and approved, staff can quickly post volunteer opportunities, financial needs, goods and services needed or those offered to other nonprofits.

Donors and volunteers will be one click away from finding opportunities and needs based on a variety of criteria they choose.
