The Clayton County Board of Commissioners continues hosting public meetings to discuss the potential for mandated
residential curbside trash collection contracted through the county. The program will be designed to make residential trash collection mandatory but will offer an expanded residential trash collection service package; such as recycling, bulk items and yard debris. The mandatory service will be collected via the property tax bill.
The public meetings are set to introduce the project to the citizens and stakeholders and provide all participants an opportunity to voice their concerns, opinions and ideas and disseminate project details throughout the community.
