Building on faith will have a new meaning during the next several weeks.

Volunteers from 11 congregations and three universities will work together on Atlanta Habitat for Humanity's Young Adult Faith Build for 20-and 30-somethings.

Build days are on Saturdays and/or Sundays from Aug. 13 through Oct. 1. One house will be built over seven days.

Participants include Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, the Hindu Temple of Atlanta, Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. They provided volunteers and also made financial donations. Other participants included Cascade United Methodist Church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Mercer University's McAfree School of Theology.

People can follow the builds on Atlanta's Habitat's Facebook event page.
