The culvert replacement project in the vicinity of East Brookhaven Drive has been extended through June 1.

The extension was announced by the city Wednesday due to unforeseen conditions and the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday. While the project was scheduled to end Thursday, the city will use the upcoming week to complete the project. This will affect the block of 3914 to 3970 East Brookhaven Drive and surrounding streets generally used as cut-throughs. Traffic will be diverted around the area of construction using detour signs. Drivers may want to plan for alternate routes during this period.
