Six Georgia school districts made the College Board’s 2015 AP District Honor Roll, which honors districts that have increased access to Advanced Placement (AP) coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP exams.

Cherokee County, Douglas County, Fayette County, Floyd County, Forsyth County, and Oconee County school districts all made the list – which includes 425 districts across the United States and Canada.

“These six districts deserve our congratulations as they continue to provide access to high-quality, college-level coursework for their students, while expanding access to those opportunities for all student populations,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said.
