While many metro Atlanta school districts have already returned to school, two of the state's largest school systems start today.

APS has about 52,000 students and Fulton County has more than 93,000.

In the Atlanta districts, students are returning to four renovated school buildings and one new school, Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy.

The Fulton school year is starting under the leadership of a new superintendent. Mike Looney became superintendent in June.
