Fulton County schools is inviting community leaders to become a “Principal for a Day” during the week of Nov. 12. It’s the fifth year of the programs intended to engage parents and civil leaders in the day-to-day workings of public schools by giving a select few “keys” to the school for a day. The volunteer principals will assume many of the regular tasks of school principals, including attending staff meetings, parent conferences, classroom observations, and performing lunchroom and carpool duty.
