Milton’s Cambridge High School ranks as Fulton County’s top high school, U.S. News & World Report announced Wednesday in its annual list of best high schools in the country.

Fulton County saw seven of its schools place among the best in the country, as it also did last year, with all falling in the top 15 among Georgia high schools.

Cambridge was No. 250 on the list of best schools in the country. It was the sixth-best school in the state, followed by Alpharetta High School at No. 7 (291 nationwide) and Johns Creek high School at No. 8 (313 nationwide). Those were followed by Northview High School at No. 10 (322), Chattahoochee High School at No. 11 (328), Milton High School at No. 11 (342) and Roswell High School at No. 15 (465).

The rankings are based on student performance on state tests, graduation rates and how many students take AP exams and pass at least one.

More than 60 Georgia high schools are ranked among the best in the country under the U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best High Schools list.
