In his second year, DeKalb County School District Superintendent Steve Green has his aim on overhauling the district’s curriculum, updating its student code of conduct and being more visible with the parents of DeKalb’s 103,000 students.

All go a long way, he says, in improving student success, from test scores to grades to absenteeism.
