Ten Cobb County school students have been selected as National Merit Scholarship winners.

The students were among approximately 3,000 winners nationally, according to officials with National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

These awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study. An additional group of college-sponsored merit scholarship recipients will be announced in July.

Cobb’s National Merit winners include:

Campbell High: Christina P. Pendergrast

Kennesaw High: Russell R. Puffer

Lassiter High: Lacey C. Moss

North Cobb High: Riley M. O’Neill

Pope High, Minear: T. Colby

Walton High: Ilya Belegradek, Eric W. Hua, Jenna M. Kahn, Irena Kuan

Wheeler High: Kevin A. Zhou
