Clayton County Public Schools will host a series of community meetings to discuss enrollment balances in the district’s schools.
The discussion will be about which schools have too many or too few students and plans to balance enrollments across the district.
That could include shifting students from one attendance district to another.
A meeting will be tonight, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at North Clayton High School, 1525 Norman Drive, where the following schools will be discussed: Charles Drew High School, North Clayton High School, Jonesboro Middle School, Riverdale Middle School and Sequoyah Middle School.
A second meeting will be held Friday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. at King Elementary School, 5745 West Lees Mill Road. The schools discussed will be: Northcutt Elementary School, Oliver Elementary School, Riverdale Elementary School, King Elementary School
A third meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. at Clayton County Performing Arts Center, 2530 Mt Zion Parkway. All affected schools will be discussed.
