Alberta’s Keenan Shaw was doing just fine selling regular Pepsi out of his locker, but that’s when his pro-diet-soda-only school stepped in and suspended him for vending the sugary treat on school grounds.
Shaw revels in the publicity and now has figured out a way around the Sir Winston Churchill High School’s rules.
“I can store it at school. I can bring it to school. I can drink it at school. I just can’t sell it (at school,)” he said. So now he sells the carbonated beverage on the streets, but stores all of it at school.
The move has only resulted in more business.
“It got me a lot more advertising,” he said. “I feel like everyone knows about it now.”
