A north Fulton County mother is accused of bringing her 11-year-old son with her to shoplift, according to Alpharetta police.

Tiffany White, 32, of Roswell, had stolen clothes in her purse when she was stopped by security officers Saturday at North Point Mall, Officer George Gordon told Channel 2 Action News.

“She was observed by loss prevention, on camera, going into a changing room with a number of clothing items on her arm, and coming out, she did not have any clothing items,” Gordon said.

White allegedly admitted to the theft with her son by her side.

White was arrested and charged with shoplifting and contributing to the deprivation of a child. She was released from the Fulton County jail after posting $6,000 bond, records showed.
