Although Florida was home to the nation’s fastest growing metro area from 2013 to 2014, according to new U.S. Census Bureau report, Georgia has nine counties in the top 100.

The report, which was released on Thursday, lists Forsyth County as the fastest-growing county in the state with a 4.6 percent population increase.

Barrow County at No. 61

In case you want to know about our neighbors to the south, The Villages, located to the west of the Orlando metro area, grew by 5.4 percent to reach a population of about 114,000, according to the report.
