A man has been detained by the U.S. Secret Service after jumping over barricades outside the White House, according to reports.

The security breach reportedly occurred a little before 1 p.m. and appeared to be quickly under control, according to video posted by independent Washington reporter Paul Harris.

“Officers were quick to react,” said CBS News White House correspondent Fin Gomez, who also took video from the scene and shared it to Twitter, confirming the incident.

“A man jumped a White House barrier on Pennsylvania Ave just in front of the White House entrance a short time ago,” he reported.

Several officers can be seen running toward a suspect who was already laying on the ground and putting him in handcuffs.

The suspect was not immediately identified, and the White House had not issued any statement concerning the arrest.

President Donald Trump was apparently inside the White House at the time, planning for an unscheduled news conference at 1 p.m. that was delayed until about 1:49 p.m.

Video by Harris from the scene showed several officers yelling to someone across the street from the White House, saying: “Hey, the park’s closed! Out of the park! Everybody out of the park!”
