Alpharetta is hosting a Special Needs Community Engagement Meeting 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Preston Ridge Community Center, 3655 Preston Ridge Rd.

This meeting is intended for those who work with or have family members with special needs. Participants will have an opportunity to voice current needs or challenges.

The purpose of this meeting is for Alpharetta, along with the North Fulton Special Needs Task Force, to learn how to work together to better serve the special needs population in North Fulton.

The North Fulton Special Needs Task Force works to design programs and events in North Fulton for individuals with special needs. Many programs are open to people of all ages and abilities
