"Pokemon Go'" may not have retained all the staggering popularity it gained a few months ago, but that doesn't mean we could resist the doubly-nerdy fun of playing it while we hung around Dragon Con 2016 this weekend.

Catching some of our favorite fantasy characters near actual people dressed as some of our favorite fantasy characters —we couldn't say no.

I mean how could we with this many Pokestops dotting downtown?

Unfortunately, it can sometimes be a little disorienting playing Pokemon Go while surrounded by humans in costume. We figured it was time to stop when we started unsuccessfully throwing Pokeballs at this guy...
