Thousands sign petition for Snoop Dogg to narrate 'Planet Earth'

He went from Snoop Doggy to Dogg to Lion and back to Snoop Dogg, so it's only fitting that Calvin Broadus narrates the BBC series "Planet Earth."
Or at least that's what the rapper's fans would like to see happen.
Thousands have signed a Change.org petition in favor of getting one of music's most well-known performers to host an entire season of the popular BBC series that documents life and nature in an unprecedented way.
The role wouldn't be unfamiliar territory for the rapper, as he has hosted "Plizzanet Earth with Snoop Dogg" as a popular (and hysterical) recurring segment on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
The rapper tweeted his support for the movement Thursday.
The petition had 29,000 signatures as of early Saturday.
