Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach posted a gracious message thanking fans and paying tribute to almost-winner Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez: "Ariadna, you are an amazing woman and we are now bonded together forever by a unique experience."
She also called for an end to bickering over the gaffe when Steve Harvey mistakenly announced the wrong winner.
Both of the beauty queens have acquitted themselves graciously in the days after Steve Harvey mistakenly crowned the wrong one.
