Photoshopping is a staple in the magazine world, but you know it is taken too far when a star can't recognize herself on a publication's cover.
That's the case for Kerry Washington.

She took to her Facebook to say that she was taken aback by seeing the altered photo.
"It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It's an unfortunate feeling," Washington wrote.
The magazine admitted that the photo was changed, but only minimally and that they added more volume to Washington's hair for "dramatic effect," ABC News reported.
