Acclaimed actor Alan Rickman died Thursday morning, according to multiple media reports. His family confirmed the death was a result of a battle with cancer. He was 69 years old.
The British-born actor began his acting career in 1972 when he began attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
