TMZ reports that "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" star Stevie J was inadvertently attacked last weekend outside a Charlotte club. (Watch the video here.)

While Stevie J avoided serious injury, popular Atlanta celebrity photographer and event organizer FreddyO ended up with a gash on his head, the story said. "My head is healing," he texted to me.

He told TMZ some dude had been roughed up by club security and the patron thought Stevie J was responsible.

The story did not say if anyone was arrested.

He is currently on a VH1 spinoff show with his squeeze Joseline Hernandez. Season five of "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" is shooting now.

In the meantime, former "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" star Benzino continues to fend off public attacks from his fiance Althea Hart. Every so often, Althea posts nasty things about Benzino on social media whenever she gets mad at him - and then deleting it after she calms down.

They recently had a child together and based on their behavior on the recently aired WE-TV's "Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars," their volatile relationship seems more than dysfunctional. He had some serious rage issues. That was taped more than eight months ago. How they're together at all at this stage is bizarre to anyone who watched them snipe and argue on that show.

In this most recent situation, she accused him of looking at lewd porn and claiming he is gay. She also said he is supposedly trying to take her son away from her..

Dave Mays, Benzino's partner, told me via text, "She took it all down. It was false and defamatory."

Folks on her Instagram told her to just cut it out:

  • mznae2uGirl you need to chill out and stop posting your damn business! What you want attention? Damn
  • detrice_lovemeYou have to stop posting about your situation on social media. Not a good look

When I interviewed Benzino before TV One's "The Next 15" debuted last month, he said she has a tendency to air their dirty laundry on social media but he tries not to respond in kind.
