On March 26, some media wags mocked CNN for airing a dopey video re-enactment of what the German pilot looked like trying to get into the locked cockpit door while his co-pilot was crashing the plane into the Alps.

"Saturday Night Live" last night decided to tackle the same subject in a skit where CNN takes "re-enactments" to an absurd degree. They used puppets to show how negotiations were like between the U.S. and Iran over nuclear arms. The funniest: the Indiana "religious freedom" bill explained via interpretative dance. And it made the video re-enactments especially primitive, referencing the Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing" video.
