Frank Ski and Wanda Smith reunited this morning with Miss Sophia on V-103.

"There it is, threesome again!" Smith said at 6:01 a.m.

To celebrate, Ski announced a March 31 V-103 concert at Philips Arena featuring hometown stars Migos, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane. He said he felt like he was pressing the "reset" button.

Ski has been filling on weekends since 2016 after departing the station in late 2012. Smith worked with Ryan Cameron - now at branding firm Rakanter - since 2014. And Miss Sophia (real name Joe Taylor) returns for the first time in nearly eight years.

Ski re-introduced his Inspirational Vitamin, his daily spiritual note. "I want you to know if God has given you a vision for your life, stay the course," he said. "Be patient, stay in faith. If it seems like it's taking too long, be patient because it will surely take place."

Indeed, when Ski returned to V-103 on a part-time basis, he chose to be patient and was duly rewarded with the job he had from 1998 to 2012.

"I did not realize it had been so long," Ski said. "It's been five years... It doesn't seem that long. We haven't skipped a beat."

"You are in a new place in your life," Smith said. "We have a lot to talk about."

Ski noted that one of his sons was just 12 when he left the radio station and now he's ready to graduate high school. "When you first got here, you didn't even have kids," Smith said.

Miss Sophia's "Girl Talk" entertainment segment didn't debut until the 7 a.m. hour. She talked about Idris Elba being engaged, Xscape minus Kandi BurrussCardi B's flu and Omarosa's asthma attack. At the end, she did her signature trilled V-103.

Ski has a welcome back party at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center this Saturday night.
