Clelli is over.

This rather cloying showmance couple of pretty boy Clay Honeycutt and Atlanta interior designer Shelli Poole has been broken up after six evictions and 50 days in the house. They were key players in the game from day one and orchestrated the various departures - until now.

Like a loyal knight, Clay fell on his sword and offered to sacrifice himself because he felt a tearful Shelli had a better shot at winning the $500,000. As a result, Clay was evicted 9-0. Shelli, based on Twitter comments, is almost universally loathed. (And in a poll I posted earlier today, 70 percent of those who took part wanted her gone vs. just 15 percent for Clay and 16 percent for anyone else.)

It's clear housemates are more mixed in their feelings toward her.

"This has been a dream to do this," Clay said. "It's an unfortunate situation for both us but I didn't want to take that away from her. She deserves a shot. I'm okay giving it to her."

He said he really feels something for Shelli. "She's been with me emotionally and on a game level," he said.

"Do you love her?" Julie Chen asked.

"That's a big word," he said, without using the "l" word.

"If she wins, I feel like I win," he added.

He said he did take responsibility getting rid of Jason Roy last week and saved Austin Matelson. "I don't regret it," he said.

"Clay you've absolutely been my light inside this house. I don't know how I'm going to live here without you. I'm looking forward to our first date," Shelli said in the going away video.
