CNN’s New York offices were abruptly evacuated after a bomb scare.

A suspicious package was discovered in the mailroom, said

CNN president Jeff Zucker in a memo to employees.

Hosts Jim Scuitto and Poppy Harlow were on air in the New York CNN newsroom when an alarm went off at 10:09 a.m.

“Excuse me, that sounds like a fire alarm here,” Scuitto said before leaving the building. Harlow and Scuitto were soon reporting outside on the streets of New York City while Wolf Blitzer took over coverage from CNN’s Washington D.C. bureau.

Similar packages have been sent to residences of Hillary Clinton and the Obamas as well as liberal donor George Soros.

The entire Time Warner Center was evacuated at 10 Columbus Circle.

The package had pipes and wires in it and was addressed to former CIA director John Brennan.
