CNN anchor Don Lemon today apologized for what many felt was an insensitive line of questioning last night to a woman who has accused Bill Cosby of drugging and raping her when she was 19.

Joan Tarshis last night said he forced her to do oral sex on him. "You know, there are ways not to perform oral sex if you didn't want to do it," he said.

Tarshis, decades removed from the incident, responded simply, "Ouch." She added, "It didn't cross my mind."

Lemon phrased his apology today in a way that leads you to believe he doesn't really feel like he was insensitive but felt obligated to make said apology because of the social media uproar.

Lemon, who himself has said he is a victim of childhood sexual abuse, moved to New York last year after several years working in Atlanta.
