TV best bets with 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,' 'Orphan Black,' 'Confirmation'

Two popular shows, Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and BBCA's "Orphan Black" return this week.

Plus, an HBO film about Clarence Thomas' 1991 confirmation hearings for Supreme Court justice will air Saturday starring Kerry Washington as Anita Hill and Wendell Pierce as Thomas. It's naturally set in D.C. but shot in Atlanta.

NBC's "Game of Silence," another show shot in Atlanta (but set in Houston) debuts Tuesday about a group of friends haunted by past secrets.

And Atlanta-based "Chrisley Knows Best" ends its spring run Tuesday, the same day Hulu's "The Mindy Project" comes back.

“Supergirl” 8 p.m. CBS — Kara must devise a way to free her friends when Non and Indigo employ mind control to turn all of National City's citizens into their own army.

“Bates Motel” 9 p.m. A&E — Norman tries to confide in Dr. Edwards.

“The Detour” 9 p.m. TBS (series debut) — Shot in Atlanta, this comedy traces the misadventures of a family attempting to embark on a vacation.

“The Magicians” 9 p.m. Syfy (first season finale) — Quentin and Julia using time magic to get to Fillor.

“Scorpion” 9 p.m.CBS — The Department of Defense hires the team to break into Fort Knox and steal an artifact in order to test their security system.

“Lucifer” 9 p.m. Fox — Fox has renewed this show for a second season.

“Better Call Saul” 10 p.m. AMC — Mike is methodical in his mission.

“The Hunters” 10 p.m. Syfy (new series) — A troubled Baltimore FBI agent becomes involved with a secret government unit assembled to hunt a group of ruthless terrorists.

“Iron & Fire” 10 p.m. History (new series) — Blacksmith Daniel Casey re-creates historic weapons for collectors and enthusiasts.

“Real Housewives of Dallas” 10 p.m. Bravo (new series) — Cary hosts a benefit at her home.

“Blindspot” 10:01 p.m. NBC — Patterson lands in harm's way after uncovering a hidden message in a crossword puzzle.

“Castle” 10:01 p.m. ABC — Castle and Beckett embark on a search for Aladdin's lamp after a man linked to smuggling Turkish antiques is killed.


“The Mindy Project” 3:01 a.m. Hulu (fourth season spring debut) — Mindy is back wondering about her future with Danny.

New Girl” 8 p.m. Fox — Jess' former boyfriend has a restraining order served on her.

iZombie” 9 p.m. the CW (second season finale) — Liv, Babineaux and Major crash Vaughn's Super Max Rager party

The Grinder” 9:30 p.m. Fox — Stewart is concerned about Dean Sr.'s anger issues complicating their case.

“Chrisley Knows Best ” 10 p.m. USA (fourth season spring finale) — Savannah hopes to cheer up Grayson by organizing a farewell weekend for him and friend

“Grey’s Anatomy 8 p.m. ABC (back-to-back new episodes) — Ben operates on a pregnant woman without the proper equipment while the hospital is on lockdown in the first part of this combined episode

American Grit 9 p.m. Fox (new series) — Four military heroes meet the 16 men and women who will face several tough military and survival challenges throughout the series.

The Blacklist 9 p.m. NBC — A team member falls into grave danger due to a tragedy.

Mom 9:01 p.m. CBS — Christy encourages Bonnie to date a supposed great new man.

The Catch 10 p.m. ABC — A government agency hires the AVI team to search for a person who has important blueprints for a lethal weapon

Vikings 10 p.m. History — As they near Paris, the Vikings relaunch their boats, but this time they bear interesting structures made by Floki.

Orphan Black 10 p.m. BBCA (fourth season debut) — Sarah's respite in Iceland is ruined by a Neolution attack; when Sarah is forced to flee, she realizes she can never truly escape.

Game of Silence 10 p.m. NBC —Jackson agrees to help Gil and Shawn, but doesn't tell Marina about it.
