New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie makes 10 Republican presidential candidates scheduled to appear in Atlanta late next week at the RedState Gathering.

Christie last was seen in these parts wooing Georgia GOP delegates in Athens in May. He has spent most of his time tooling around New Hampshire, but has struggled in the polls.

Event organizer and WSB-Radio host Erick Erickson revealed the Christie news yesterday on the RedState blog, adding:

"I'm very honored Governor Christie will be there. He was a late entrant into Campaign 2016 and we've worked with his campaign to make the schedule work."

Christie will speak in the morning of Friday Aug. 7 at the InterContinental hotel in Buckhead. Also on Friday's schedule: Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio.

Scheduled to speak Saturday are Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker and Donald Trump -- who winds things up at an evening reception at the College Football Hall of Fame.
