John Stone, a former Congressional staffer running in the GOP primary in the 12th Congressional District, was on the radio with Zoller and Bryant on WGAU (1340AM) this morning to express his displeasure at the work of the National Republican Congressional Committee in the race:
"We now have a primary that I'll guarantee you is going to be making national news in terms of the ongoing GOP civil war between the vast majority of us, which are the conservative base, and the Washington establishment."
Stone said the county chairmen were on board with his plan to have a non-binding caucus to come up with a consensus Republican candidate, but the other candidates would not agree.
The other GOP candidates looking to unseat Democratic U.S. Rep. John Barrow are Rick Allen, Eugene Yu and state Rep. Delvis Dutton, who has gotten an apparent boost from Washington.
