In late summer, four of the five fun, energetic guys from Atlanta’s Stokeswood came by the AJC studios to chat.

Mark Godwin (guitar), Michael Roman (keyboards), Adam Patterson (vocals) and Justin Mullinix (bass) were candid and jovial as they discussed their origin, who they would like to tour with and how they found their sound as a power-pop-rock-hip-hop band (drummer Jon Joiner couldn’t break away from a day job to attend the confab).

Stokeswood's latest album, "2075," is available now via iTunes, Google Play and Amazon ( take a listen to "Our Streets" ).

You can also check them out playing live at the Rock 105.7 Saints & Sinners Ball on Halloween with X Ambassadors and Coleman Hell. Tickets are $20 for the show, which starts at 7 p.m. (21 and older only). To purchase, click here.
