The Elton John-hosted "Living Room Concert for America" raised nearly $8 million for the Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation charities.

The Sunday night event, presented by iHeartMedia, featured John in his piano-less home as he introduced performances from the Backstreet Boys – performing separately, yet together – Billie Eilish, Tim McGraw, Dave Grohl, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes and others (including a little bit of John to close the show). In addition, celebrities including Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson with R&B star wife, Atlanta native Ciara, and Lady Gaga popped in from their respective homes with messages of optimism.

Among the major donors were Proctor & Gamble, which offered $500,000, an amount matched by the Fox Corporation. The tally includes donations from fans, as well as Fox employees who raised funds in support of the cause.

Fans who missed the Sunday night broadcast - which attracted 8.7 million viewers - can watch it on the iHeartRadio YouTube channel through 10 p.m. Wednesday. The Fox network will also broadcast an encore performance at 9 p.m. ET/PT April 6.
