Starting a three state swing on Thursday, Donald Trump seized on reports of an FBI investigation of the work of the Clinton Foundation, arguing it was another piece of evidence that showed Hillary Clinton should not be elected President next Tuesday.
"The FBI is investigating how Hillary Clinton put the office of Secretary of State up for sale," Trump said, as he drew even bigger cheers with his conclusion.
"The FBI agents say there is likely to be an indictment," Trump added at a rally in Jacksonville, Florida.
Trump boiled his argument down this way - the American people have already seen the Clintons in office, so why do it again?
"Here we go again with the Clintons," Trump said. "The impeachment, and the problems," as he predicted that Clinton would be under investigation every minute of her presidency.
"It's time for new leadership," Trump said to cheers.
Shadowing Trump in Florida was President Obama, who first held a rally in Miami, and for another day, did all he could to skewer Trump repeatedly.
"You don't see him hanging out with working people, unless they are cleaning his room, or mowing the fairways at his golf club," the President said, as he mocked Trump.
Trump again gave the President the back of the hand.
"I just left Miami, and I saw Air Force One," Trump said. "I wonder who could that be?"
"He's campaigning down here for Crooked Hillary," Trump added to cheers, saying the President was wasting his time.
"Hillary Clinton has been there for thirty years, and she has accomplished nothing."
