Angered by a series of attack ads dropped on him by a conservative political group, Donald Trump responded like a businessman, sending a cease and desist letter to the Club For Growth, accusing them of airing advertisements filled with "outright lies, false, defamatory and destructive statements."

"This is the very definition of libel," Trump's lawyer said in a letter to the Club For Growth.

The response of the Club For Growth was basically, jump in the lake.

"Tough guy Donald Trump starts whining when his liberal record is revealed," the group's leader David McIntosh said in a statement.

"Trump has advocated higher taxes numerous times over many years," McIntosh added.

"We suggest that Donald grow up, stop whining, and try to defend his liberal record," he added.
