Kicking off a marathon day filled with five rallies, Donald Trump told supporters in Iowa that the election of Hillary Clinton would be a mistake, while Clinton sought the support of black voters at a Pennsylvania church, as both campaigns rushed around the country in a frantic final sprint to Election Day.

"In two days - can you believe this? - we are going to win the great state of Iowa and win back the White House," Trump said to cheers at a rally in Sioux City.

Trump zeroed in immediately on Clinton and the controversy of her emails while Secretary of State, painting a dark picture for voters - if she wins on Tuesday.

"Her current scandals and controversies will continue throughout her presidency, and will make it virtually impossible for her to govern," Trump said.

"Let's hope we don't have to think about it," Trump added, as the Iowa crowd yelled and cheered.

"There's little doubt that FBI Director Comey and the great special agents within the FBI, will be able to collect more than enough evidence to garner indictments against Hillary Clinton and her inner circle," Trump said as the crowd roared its approval.

As for Clinton, she started her day at church in Pennsylvania, where she argued to black voters that she is ready to take the baton from President Obama, and defend his achievements.

Trump is going to five states on Sunday - Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia. While he is ahead in Iowa, the polls have not been kind to him in the other states.

Clinton is visiting Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Hampshire.
