Republicans in the U.S. House have now filed their legislation to extend a payroll tax cut that expires at the end of the year - and it includes a lot more than just that provision.
The bill makes changes to long term jobless benefits, requiring drug testing for those receiving that assistance and much more.
Also in the bill, major flood insurance reforms, changes for radio spectrum and how it can be used for emergency communications, and authority for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
