FAA may close air traffic towers at smaller airports

The threat of across the board budget cuts has the U.S. Department of Transportation also talking about furloughs of workers at the Federal Aviation Administration, and that could mean both delays in air travel for travelers and the closure of air traffic towers at smaller airports nationwide.

Here is a list of the possible air traffic tower closures as provided by the Transportation Department.
