Which schools in 2017 did not win region titles but went on to be state champions? (Answer Monday)

Answer to Thursday's question: The current GHSA head coaches who were active as head coaches in 1988 are Alan Chadwick of Marist, Rick Tomberlin of Appling County (then at Jonesboro) and Ron Gartrell of Stephenson (then at Shamrock).
