A Utah man is lucky to be alive and it is all thanks to his wife's gut feeling that something was terribly wrong.
Scott Mayhew was working on his car when it fell off a jack, landing and crushing his chest, KSTU reported.
He was pinned, yelling for help for an hour and a half.
Scott's wife Nicole was at work, and got a strange feeling that she had to go see her husband, according to KSTU.
She told the station, "I just said I need to go check on him working on the car. I just believe a spirit told me."
And it was a good thing she did. When she returned home, she heard him call out to her, and found him pinned under their Ford Explorer. A neighbor helped jack up the car, taking the weight off of Scott.
Nicole told KSTU "I believe that you know there's angels around us and my religion, my Heavenly Father was with him."
Scott had six broken ribs from the accident.
