After summer like temperatures finally cooling off - the park continues to call for a 100 percent chance of snow daily.

Stone Mountain Park officially began the months-long process to open its ninth season of Snow Mountain just prior to Thanksgiving on the "Laser Lawn."

360 tons of snow is made daily from water drawn from Stone Mountain Lake in an environmentally friendly process.

Construction of scaffoldings for the 20 snow tubing lanes is underway.

Early-season tickets are now available via StoneMountainPark.com; Snow Mountain opens Nov. 19 and operates through Feb. 26th.
