Don't bother checking that forecast, folks — you can already bet on snow at Stone Mountain Park next weekend.

Snow Mountain — the park's annual icy offering that features tubing, snowman building and "snowball shooting" — officially opens for the 2016 season on Saturday, Nov. 19. It will run on select dates through Feb. 26.

The activities take place on "real" snow, 360 tons of which is made daily with water drawn from the lake near the park's "Laser Lawn."

How much is it? Tickets for adults and children are $28. Click here for more information.

Where is it? Stone Mountain Park is located at 1000 Robert E. Lee Blvd., Stone Mountain, Ga., 30083. The park's website suggests using Exit 8 on U.S. 78.

What else can I do? Stone Mountain Park will also glow with over 2 million lights this holiday season. Stone Mountain Christmas will feature a new musical walk-through experience dubbed "Skylights Spectacular," as well as a 4-D showing of the Christmas classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

There are also other walking light tours around the park, such as "Wonderland Walkway" or "Snow Angel Palace."

Those festivities run through Jan. 4, though times vary. Admission ranges from $25.95 to $49.95. Children under 3 get in for free.
