Gwinnett high school holds STEM workshop Saturday for Latino students

Gwinnett County’s Meadowcreek High School is hosting a bilingual workshop for free Saturday for Latino parents and students interested in science, technology, engineering and math.

The workshop is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. No pre-registration is required.

There will be information about college access and financial aid, a robotics demonstration and interaction with students. Georgia Tech's GoSTEM program is also participating in the workshop. The school has tried to attract more Latino students through summer STEM programs.
