Box braids, afros and Bantu knots are just a few ways African-Americans style their coif, and Twitter is celebrating the magic of black hair with the #BlackHairChallenge.
It began when one tweep asked people to share up to four photos of themselves rocking different ‘dos using the hashtag.
Pretty soon, users began chiming in, posting a slew of images to show off just how versatile their hair can be. And the trend just wasn’t for the ladies. A few guys chimed in, too.
There was no shortage of looks. From curly cues and straight tresses to buzz cuts and dreadlocks, the variety was endless.
