Cobb bar protested as racist for Obama T-shirts
Marietta tavern owner Mike Norman says the T-shirts he's peddling, featuring cartoon chimp Curious George peeling a banana, with "Obama in '08" scrolled underneath, are "cute." But to a coalition of critics, the shirts are an insulting exploitation of racial stereotypes from generations past.

YouTube video leads to MARTA arrest
MARTA officials said they have arrested Nafiza Ziyad, 25, as the result of an online video in which a young woman appears to be threatening an old woman on a MARTA train.

Riverdale cop shoots suspect in theft near station
A Riverdale police officer Tuesday shot and seriously wounded a suspect believed involved in the brazen burglary of a shoe store less than 200 yards from the city's police station.

Tesler prosecution rests
Arthur Bruce Tesler said he didn't object to lies to get a search warrant and helped cover up the crime after an innocent woman was killed, because he feared retribution from Atlanta police if he became a "rat," an FBI agent said Tuesday.
