Gwinnett police arrest 2, seek 1 in gang-related homicide

Police say a shooting in an upscale Gwinnett County neighborhood was a gang-related homicide.

Two men are in custody and one more suspect is sought for the Nov. 24 murder of Jeffery Anderson, 25, Gwinnett County police Cpl. Michele Pihera said.

Anderson was found dead by police conducting a welfare check at a home in the 2700 block of River Station Court, in the River Station Estates subdivision, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previoulsy reported.

A passerby had flagged down an officer and said someone was dead inside the home, Pihera said.

Dossie Davon Mann, 19, of Norcross, was arrested Feb. 15 and Gordon Anthony Evans, 34, was arrested Feb. 16, Pihera said.

Both men are currently in Gwinnett County Jail on charges of felony and malice murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, false imprisonment and participating in gang activity, among other charges.

Police are still searching for a third suspect, 25-year-old Durell Leeshon Lewis, who faces the same charges.

Though two suspects have been charged in this case, the lead detective is still pursuing any other persons who may be related to the crime, Pihera said.
